For me this actually turn out to be a Network issue. Check NIC–> cable –> Port –> Patch Panel–>Patch Cables–> Switch/Hub.

In my case, I tested machine on a nearby port and the file/files saved fine. The patch cables and port in the switch is good after a test with another machine. So the culprit must be the port/jack in the users area.
